Your Family-Owned Auto Repair Shop in Reno

“Tony/ Nick was awesome. Got me in to replace my radiator SAME DAY. He found a couple more problems, called for approval and fixed those too. Great/ competitive price. Highly recommend!”

“Tony was easy to work with and very transparent. I have a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee and came into the shop for a routine maintenance check. Tony took the time to perform a thorough inspection and in the process diagnosed a worn out main seal that likely would have caused an oil leak and severe engine damage.

His work is reliable and trustworthy. Will go here as long as I am in Reno.”

“Good experience with Nicks from my Bfs prospective. He called to get a quote and Nick was helpful and friendly giving him the information and a rough estimate over the phone depending on the outcome of a diagnosis. We got his truck towed the same day to the shop and Nick kept him informed on the cost to repair the next day and ordered parts. Turnaround time was two days and we were able to pick it up the next day. He was not charged a storage fee overnight but maybe since he had the work done there which was fair. Family owned business near the Peppermill. Fair prices and close to the estimate given. Truck runs like a charm! Will do business here again if needed and recommend!”

“I called Nick's Automotive, and right away was able to take my car in. After less than an hour (and that was even after looking for a part that my car needed) I was on the road. Tony was GREAT! he explained everything to me that they were doing, AND gave me options. I didn't feel forced or tricked into anything. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs automotive service..”

Nick's Automotive provides excellent customer service, as well as, follow-up and down-home personalized service. I went back again to ask a question about general maintenance and Tony remembered me by my first name and even said hi. I know that's not saying much but to remember your customers is a key component to a successful business and that's just what Nick's Automotive is.

“I brought my stratus in before a big road trip. Tony was super nice and honest with everything my car needed to be done. He flushed all the fluids in my car including giving me a new radiator so I would be safe on my trip. I really appreciated the honesty and genuine care Tony has for all of his clients. This place is awesome and if I need anything else done this will be my new auto shop!”- Jordan P.

“I'm new to Reno, so when my car started running funny and the dreaded check engine light came on, I had no idea where to take it. I did some research and fortunately, Nick's was right down the street and had good reviews. When I got there I was nothing less than impressed. Everyone was very professional and friendly, and I got my car back the same day. My car knowledge is pretty limited, and if I had any questions they were explained in layman's terms without any condescension. You don't normally want to come back to a mechanic - but if I do end up needing to, I'll be coming back here.”

-Nick K.

“Came in with a major rack & pinion issue (2014 Subaru) that needed repair quickly. Nick was extremely helpful, upfront, and professional about the whole process. I had done my research before coming in and even compared several different auto locations but Nick was very honest with his price and got my car done that next day. Highly recommend.
